Obviously representing another effort to maintain dominance in the flagship category, Korean Giant Samsung has just released a new version of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus with 6GB RAM in Hong Kong -- and according to sources, this model will also be released in other key markets in Asia; Hopefully, including the Philippines.
This beefed-up model shares almost the same exact technical specifications as the earlier release, the regular Samsung Galaxy S8+. You get the same 6.2-inch Quad HD SuperAMOLED Infinity Display, 12 MP Dual Pixel f/1.7 rear camera with OIS, 8 MegaPixel front cam for selfies with f/1.7 aperture, 64-Bit Octa Core 10nm Exynos 8895 Octa, TouchWiz-flavored Android 7.0 Nougat OS, and non-removable 3,500 mAh fast-charging battery -- all wrapped in a sleek IP68-certified water-resistant shell made of scratch-resistant glass and real metal.
Apart from the larger RAM, the new version will also have a more sizable internal storage at 128GB. This will give the user more space for photos, videos, and other content without having to add a microSD card to the unit or to regularly transfer files to a computer or an portable hard drive.
