Nokia 9 with Dual Carl Zeiss Cameras Shines in Concept Photos

If the rumored Nokia 9 2017 flagship smartphone from HMD Global will end up looking like this, I'll be one happy man.

Based on information disclosed by trusted Nokia devices 'leaker' Nokibar earlier this month, gifted handset concept artist @PhoneDesigner worked on these images and uploaded them on his Facebook page last April 13, 2017.

These photos reflect the phone's key feature - the Dual 22-MegaPixel Carl Zeiss Camera at the rear - which many long time fans of the Nokia brand are now all too excited about.

Aside from being very durable, top-of-the-line Nokia phones from the past including the Nokia 808 PureView and Nokia Lumia 1020 (which are both in my collection) are known to have industry-leading imaging capabilities -- thanks to the company's imaging algorithms and landmark alliance with renowned lens maker Carl Zeiss.

Other rumored Nokia 9 features that @PhoneDesigner tried to capture in his renders are the 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display that gently curves down either sides - similar to that of Samsung Galaxy S8, which has just been launched in various territories around the world - as well as the dual front-facing speakers and the 12 MegaPixel selfie cam above the display.

The purported specs that we can see in these images include the powerhouse Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB and 128GB ROM options, Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system, and the all-new Nokia OZO Audio enhancement.

According to various sources, Nokia 9 2017 flagship cameraphone will be announced and released within Q3 2017. And considering that HMD Global has decided to make Nokia 6, 5, and 3 available in the Philippines, I reckon there's a big chance that this new high-end model will also be launched in our marker.

And with that, let me wrap up this post by saying that, as with all unverified 'insider information' and rumors, we'd do well to take all of these leaked details with a grain of salt. In the meantime, let's stay tuned for official updates coming from HMD Global about this exciting device.
